WEND ® is a brand of snow waxes and accessories manufactured by Wax Research, Inc. Wax Research has continuously produced snow waxes since 1972 and over the years has manufactured for many well-known international snow brands. The WEND® snow wax line was launched in 2003 by Wax Research and has evolved over the last 8 years to incorporate natural components and modifiers such palm, plant and mineral waxes. A new super slick oil from flower seed that acts as a natural silicone has been added to the formula after extensive testing in the U.S., Peru and New Zealand. WEND® continues to offer a sophisticated line of racing waxes, overlays, a full range of shop waxes, retail bars and pastes. The strength of WEND® comes from the backing of Wax Research, a leader in action sport waxes and accessories.

2011 Development Program

The WEND® test program has been conducted in World Cup wax rooms, at events, by racers, and in summer training camps.

Development has been aided by technicians such as Curtis Bacca and Mike Leigh of the US Olympic Training Center. Leaders in the field of Sports Science, such as the Athletic Department of the USSA, have also offered invaluable input and credibility to our wax performance.
